When I was little (the house was a mess) We would pretend that the floor was lava and jump on all the papers and toys on the floor and if we steped on the floor we would "loose a life" and have to start over!

Me and my friends would allways go in the sandbox and pretend we were crossing the Sahara.
It would allways be bizarre and we would play differently every time. First it was quick-sand, then sand monsters, etc.
I miss those days.

Land of the Lost was our inspiration. After every Saturday morning episode, we'd convert the living room into the 'cave' and my father was the tyrannosaurus rex who would chase us around. Or he'd be a sleestak. It depended on the episode.

I wonder how I would have reacted if Jurassic Park was around then. I mean, in Land of the Lost, the dinosaurs were big and slow and it just took a large stick in the mouth to get rid of them. I think I would have died of fear if I'd seen Jurassic Park back then.

Alice and I used to make a tent out of my bed and play desert adventure or ride the livingroom sofa as cowboys. The only thing we did on the stairs was bounce down them yelling "Yippee!"

Oh! We played a game like this! One of us would always get into some sort of terrible trouble and call out to the others, "Save yourselves!" And die nobly.
