The only people I knew who died were my grandfather and my friend Luc's grandmother. Both times I was very upset though.

I don't think anyone I knew died until I was 16, but then it was pretty dramatic. My father's business partner was shot by his wife. He was a very nice man and I was quite traumatized. The sons were home at the time, they were high school age too. Maybe one was a little older. The wife got off and I never found out why.
